Dr. Joe Brockinton

Joe has been working with students at Christian colleges for the past 26 years.  He served his alma mater, Asbury College, for 23 years and has been at Southern Wesleyan since 2006. 

He is an avid fan of athletics and the added value that it provides student-athletes at the intercollegiate level.  At SWU, he believes that athletics is one of the avenues through which the University fulfills its mission to “help students become all that God intends them to become.”  He earned four letters in tennis while in college and has coached cross-country and track at both the high school and collegiate levels.

Joe's devotion to Warrior Athletics was recognized in 2008 as he was selected "Fan of the Year" at the annual SWUPY's Award Show.
