Tom Price

Tom Price enters his 6th year as head coach of the women's soccer program here at Southern Wesleyan University (SWU).  Price has a 49-43-5 overall record at SWU, and the program has had 3 consecutive years of posting at least 10 wins since 2007 under his tutelage. 

The Warriors are coming off an 11-6-2 overall mark in 2009, and a 4-3-1 record in the always competitive Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).  Price had 2 student-athletes named to the All-SSAC 2nd Team, 5 named to the SSAC All-Academic Team, 3 NCCAA Scholar Athletes, and 3 NCCAA All-Region selections in 2009.

Southern Wesleyan was the start of Price's head coaching career, however, he was an assistant coach at Roberts Wesleyan College from 1994-1998, and was the associate head coach at Campbell County High School in 999-2000.  “It is hard to believe that I have been here for five years.  I have been truly blessed to have worked with so many quality young ladies, and I look forward to many more here at Southern Wesleyan University,” commented Price.

In addition to his coaching duties, Price is the Intramural Director and is also the NCCAA National Chair for women’s soccer.  Tom resides in Central, S.C. and has two sons Joshua (11) and Aaron (9).
