Smith and Warehime Added to Women's Basketball Coaching Staff

CENTRAL, S.C. – Head women’s basketball coach John Davis is pleased to announce the addition of Kesha Smith and Katie Warehime to the coaching staff of the women’s basketball program.  Both Smith and Warehime had decorated playing careers at the collegiate and professional levels.

2010-2011 Women's Basketball Schedule Announced

Southern Wesleyan University has announced its women’s basketball schedule for the 2010-2011 season.  The Warriors have their 16-game Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) games, along with 12 non-conference games slated, and 2 exhibition games scheduled with NCAA Division I opponents.  SWU will be on the road for 15 of their scheduled 28 games this season.

Davis Hired to Lead Women's Basketball

John Davis has been hired to lead the SWU women's basketball program into the 2010-11 season.

Smith Resigns Women's Basketball Post

LaCheryl Smith, who was at the helm of the Southern Wesleyan Women's Basketball program for the past three seasons, has resigned in order to become Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at nearby Furman University.
