Coach Gillespie Says…
"Difficult day to end the series after playing close games on Friday. We just could not get anything going and Barton got their bats going early and often. On a positive note we really played well in the field all weekend. We had three clean games defensively, giving us an opportunity to get some wins on Friday, we just couldn't pull them out."
How It Happened
The Bulldogs struck first, scoring two runs on a home run by Webster and one on stealing home in the bottom of the first. The Bulldogs went on to score four in the third, seven in the fourth, three in the fifth, and two in the sixth.
