Coach Gillespie Says…

"Frustrating night for us at the plate and we played uncharacteristically poor in the field early on.  Just had too many guys pressing and doing too much at the plate, instead of trusting the process we have really focused on the last half of the season.  Hopefully, we can come out tomorrow and be more relaxed, trusting the process and not so tight because it's our last weekend."

How It Happened

The Lions struck first in game one of the series to take a four runs in the top of the third inning.  They went on to score solo runs in the seventh and eighth innings to win the first game of the series in a 6-0 final.
