Coach Maxon says…

"We were totally unprepared to play today across the board.  On the men's side we completely neglected the course management plan we developed yesterday and our scores reflected that.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day."

 

How It Happened

Eric Shea led the Warriors in the first round of play.  Shea finished in a tie for 15th place with a first round score of 73.  He was followed by senior John Keffer with a score of 78 to finish in a tie for 48th.

Joseph McDonagh-Brown finished in a tie for 73rd place with a first round of 81.  McDonagh-Brown was followed by Ty Campbell and Thomas Nielsen.  Campbell and Nielsen both finished in a tie for 87th with a first round score of 84.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on October 3.  They will then compete in the Southeast Regional Preview in Conover, N.C. on October 9-10.
