Kiawah Island, SC – Southern Wesleyan sitting in a tie for seventh after the first round of the Newberry Invitational.

How It Happened

In the first round of the tournament, Eric Shea led the team with a 70 to put him in fourth place.  Shea was followed by fellow freshman Zach Huebner.  Huebner ended round one sitting in a tie for 25th with a 74.

In a tie for 48th place, Ty Campbell and Noah Mullens both shot a 77 in round one.  Senior John Keffer finished round one in a tie for 80th place with a score of 81.

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Newberry Invitational on February 20th.
