Warriors Take Sixth In NCAA Championship Preview

Daniels, WV – Southern Wesleyan finished in sixth of seventeen teams in the NCAA DII Championship Preview.  The Warriors had a total round score of 872.

How It Happened

Sophomore Ty Campbell led the field in the NCAA DII Championship Preview.  Campbell shot a 68, 73 and 74 over the three rounds of play for a total round score of 215 to put him in a tie for 13th place.  He was followed by Seve Anfindsen who shot a 73, 74 and 70 to give him a total round score of 217.  Anfindsen's total round score of 217 put him in a tie for 19th place.

Sitting in a tie for 26th place, Eric Shea shot a 74, 69 and 75 for a total round score of 218 over the three rounds of play.  Shea was followed by freshman Dominic Ramsey.  Ramsey shot a 77, 72 and 75 to give him a total round score of 224 to put him in a tie for 58th place.  Noah Mullens wrapped up the field for the Warriors.  The sophomore shot a 75, 79 and 75 for a total round score of 229 to put him in a tie for 73rd.

The Warriors will next travel to Morganton, NC to take part in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate on October 15-16.
