Warriors Holding On To Third Place After First Two Rounds

Morganton, NC – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in third after the first two rounds of play in Donald Ross Intercollegiate on Monday.

How It Happened

Eric Shea led the Warriors in the first two rounds in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate.  Shea shot a 68 to open up the tournament and then a 70 in the second round to give him a 138 total and put him in a tie for second place.  Right on his heels was junior Ty Campbell with a 139 total after the first two rounds.  Campbell shot a 71 in the first round and 68 in the second to put him in a tie of seventh place.

Shea and Campbell were followed by sophomore Noah Mullens.  Mullens shot back-to-back 73 in the first two rounds to give him a 146 total round and put him in a tie for 27th place.  He was followed by Seve Anfindsen in a tie for 38th place.  Anfindsen shot a 72 and 76 to give him a 148 total round score.  Freshman Dominic Ramsey wrapped up the field for the Warriors, shooting a 76 and 77 to give him a 153 total after the first two rounds and putting him in a tie of 64th.

The Warriors will conclude their fall non-Championship season tomorrow as they finish up the Donald Ross Intercollegiate.
