Warriors Tied For Third Place After First Round

Hilton Head, SC – Southern Wesleyan is tied for third place after the first round of play in the Battle at Hilton Head on Monday. The Warriors shot +9 in the first round.

How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan kicked off the Battle at Hilton Head with two Warriors sitting in the top ten. Eric Shea led the Warriors with a 70 and two birdies in his first round to put him in second place. Shea was followed by Ty Campbell. Campbell finished the first round with a 72 and three birdies to tie for fourth place.

Dominic Ramsey followed in a tied for 32nd with a first round score of 77. Ramsey had two birdies. He was followed by Zach Huebner with a 78 and one birdie to put him in a tie for 43rd place. Ramsey and Huebner were followed by Noah Mullens. Mullens finished the first round with an 80 and two birdies to put him in a tie for 55th place.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will conclude the second round on Tuesday, February 26. They will then travel to play in the Southern Tide Invitational on March 4 and 5.
