Men's Golf Tied for Fourth Place after Round One

Columbia, SC - Southern Wesleyan is sitting in a tie for fourth place after the first round of play in the NGU Men's Invitational.

How It Happened

Eric Shea led the Warriors in the first round. Shea shot a first round score of 73, one over par to put him in a tie for 6th place. He was followed by Jackson Whitfield in a tie for 11th place with a first round score of 75.

Noah Mullens followed Shea and Whitfield. The sophomore shot a 77 in the first round to put him in a tie for 17th place. Thomas Nielsen followed closely behind him in a tie for 21st place with a first round score of 78. Zach Huebner shot a first round score of 83 to put him in 43rd place. 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the NGU Men's Invitational on March 19. They will then travel to Lenior City, TN on April 1 and 2 to compete in the Tennessee River Rumble.
