Warriors Finish Third in the NGU Men's Invitational

Columbia, SC - Southern Wesleyan finished third in the NGU Men's Invitational after Monday and Tuesday. The Warriors shot +27 and posted a team score of 603.

How It Happened

Eric Shea led the way for the Warriors in a tie for 8th place at the NGU Men's Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. Shea shot 73 in round one and 76 in round two for a total of 149. Thomas Nielsen and Noah Mullens followed in a tie for 12th place. Nielsen shot 78 in the first round and 74 in round two for a total of 152. Mullens shot 77 in round one and 75 in round two for a total scsore of 152. 

In a tie for 26th place, Jackson Whitfield shot a 157 overall. He shot 75 in round one and 82 in round two. Zach Huebner followed closely in a tie for 28th place after shooting a 158 overall. He shot 83 in round one and 75 in round two.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will travel to Lenior City, TN to compete in the Tennesse River Rumble on April 1 and 2. They will then compete in the Conference Carolinas Championships on April 14-16 in Snow Hill, NC.
