Conference Carolinas Announces 2018-19 Women's and Men's Golf All-Conference Teams

High Point, NC - Conference Carolinas announced the 2018-19 Women's and Men's Golf All-Conference Teams on April 12 and 19. Claire Page represented the women's team in her final season with the Warriors and Eric Shea picked up this recognition after his sophomore season at Southern Wesleyan. 

Page is from Easley, South Carolina, and has been a leader for the women's team the past four seasons. She finished her final season with two top ten finishes. In the Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship, Page finished in ninth place and shot her first hole in one in the first round of the conference tournament. After sitting in a tie for 10th place with a first round score of 77, she went on to shoot an 80 in round two and a 79 in the final round. Her total round score of 236 allowed her to tie for ninth place and earned her a place on the All-Tournament Team. 

Shea comes to Southern Wesleyan from Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and has been vital in the men's team success in the past two years. He finished his sophomore campaign with two top ten finishes. In the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship, Shea finished in a tie for 24th place with a total round score of 227. He shot a 73 in the first round, a 79 in the second round and went on to shoot a 75 in the final round. Shea's best tournament this season was the Anderson Invitational where he took 1st place. He won by four shots and posted a 73.00 stroke average for the year.
