Warriors Sitting in Sixth after First Round in Kiawah Island Invitational

Kiawah Island, SC – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in sixth place after shooting one under par as a team in the first round of the Kiawah Island Invitational.

How It Happened

The Warriors were led by freshman Carter Rains in a tie for 10th place.  Rains shot three under par in the first round to give him a first round score of 69.  He was followed by Eric Shea in a tie for 18th place.  Shooting one under par, Shea shot a first round score of 71.

Seve Anfindsen shot a 73 in the first round of the Kiawah Invitational to put him in a tie for 33rd place.  He was followed by teammate Jackson Whitfield in a tie for 39th place with a first round score of 74.  Noah Mullens wrapped up the field for the Warriors, shooting a first round score of 76 to put him in a tie for 58th place.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will conclude the Kiawah Invitational tomorrow.  They will then take part in the North Georgia Invitational on September 30 and October 1, The Warriors will then conclude their fall season on October 21-22 at the Miami Intercollegiate.
