Due West, SC – Southern Wesleyan dropped their final game of the season to the Erskine College Flying Fleet in a 7-1 final score.
The Warriors put up four shots, two on goal in the loss to the Flying Fleet. Caleb Compton and Noah Sims each had shots on goal. Compton went on to score the lone goal of the game for the Warriors. Will Hughes and Brandon Trimby split time at the goal for the Warriors. Hughes played sixty-eight minutes, collecting four saves. Trimby played twenty-one minutes and had one save.
Final: Erskine 7, Southern Wesleyan 1

"So proud of our guys tonight. Not a person that watched that game has anything but respect for us. With no subs, our 10 players played all ninety minutes withso much heart and character. Got ourselves a goal as we ended our season. I am so proud of them. Love 'em all!"
How It Happened
Erskine attacked early as Vincent Stulec took a pass from Kacper Zac and looped it into the goal to take a 1-0 lead over Southern Wesleyan. Southern Wesleyan challenged back with a shot by Alex Miner, but they were not able to get the ball past the Flying Fleet defense. Erskine continued to push ahead with goals back-to-back to lead 5-0 at the half.
The Flying Fleet continued to push ahead in the second half off a goal by Roman De Leon. Erskine continued to push ahead, but the Warriors stayed strong to keep the Flying Fleet from extending their lead any more. A foul in the box allowed the Warriors to take a penalty kick. Caleb Compton lined up for the kick and scored the Warriors lone goal of the game. Erskine went on to win the game 7-1.
