How It Happened

The Warriors went 1-2 in doubles action in the loss on Wednesday afternoon. Nathan Holley and Peter Kovats fell to the team of Melwin Krall and Max Sturgess in a 6-3 final. Leonard Sanders and Sarvesh Maria fell to the team of Justus Lehmann and Isaac MacMillian in a 6-2 final. The team of Joseph Olatunji and Ben Smith defeated Coker's team of Hunter Horton and Pable Saul in a 6-3 final.

In singles action, the Warriors went 2-4. Peter Kovats defeated Melwin Krall in 6-3, 5-7, and 6-3 final scores. Freshman Leonard Sanders defeated Hunter Horton in a 6-4 and 7-5 final. Joseph Olatunji fell to Justus Lehmann in a 6-2 and 6-2 final. Sarvesh Maria fell to Max Sturgess in a 6-3 and 6-0 final. Nathan Holley fell to Isaac MacMillian in a 6-2 and 6-1 final and Ben Smith fell to Pable Saul in a 6-0 and 6-1 final.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will return to the courts on February 20 as they host the North Georgia Nighthawks at 3 p.m. They will then host the Citadel Bulldogs on February 22 at 3 p.m.
