How It Happened

The Warriors went 1-1 in doubles action on Tuesday afternoon. The team of Leonard Sanders and Sarvesh Maria defeated the team of Enrique Alcacer and Juan Carlos Romero in a 6-3 final. Joseph Olatunji and Ben Smith fell to Jorge Canadas and Lucas Hideo Sasaki in a 6-0 final.

In singles action, the Warriors went 1-3. Leonard Sanders defeated Juan Carlos Romero in 6-4, 5-7, and 6-4 final scores. Sarvesh Maria challenged, but fell to Thembokwakhe Makhany in 6-1, 4-6, and 6-4 final scores. Joseph Olatunji fell to Komel Kimagzweski in 6-4, 7-6, and 8-6 final scores. Ben Smith fell to Lucas Hideo Sasaki in 6-1 and 6-1 final scores.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan travels to Montreat College to play at 3 p.m. on February 28. They will then host the Mars Hill Lions at 1 p.m. on March 2.
