Warriors Perform Well in the UNF Invite

Jacksonville, FL - Southern Wesleyan competed in the UNF Invite on Thursday and Friday. Keuntrai Robinson set a new school record in the Hammer Throw.

How It Happened

Track Results

100 Meter : With a time of 11.14 in the 100 meters, Jannai Maxwell claimed 24th place. 

200 Meter : Jannai Maxwell took 18th place with a time of 22.65. Shonquez Caldwell followed in 20th place with a time of 22.71.

400 Meter : In 12th place, Dymitric Ray led the team with a time of 48.76. He was followed by Shonquez Caldwell in 20th place with a time of 49.23. In 53rd place was Kaleb Jackson with a time of 56.46. Right behind him in 54th place with a time of 57.43 was Demadgyai Croft.

800 Meter : Thomas Williams took 24th place with a time of 1:59.11. Jacob Harris followed with a time of 2:03.56 and took 36th place.

1500 Meters : Konnor Palacios led the Warriors in 1500 meters in 24th place with a time of 4:25.18. He was followed by Mason Sims in 30th place with a time of 4:44.71.

110 Meter Hurdles : Leonard Holmes took 11th place with a time of 15.18.

Field Results

Hammer Throw : Keuntrai Robinson set a new school record in the hammer throw with a distance of 48.66 meters to take 5th place.

Javelin Throw : Johnny Bogert took 11th place in the javelin throw with a distance of 44.18 meters.

Discus Throw : With a distance of 39.59 meters, Christian Swindle took 20th place in the discus throw.

Shot Put : In the shot put, Keuntrai Robinson took 14th place with a distance of 13.50 meters. He was followed by Christian Swindle in 22nd place with a distance of 12.11 meters.

High Jump : Freshman Chandler Whittle took 11th place and cleared a height of 1.87 meters.

What's Next 

Southern Wesleyan will compete in the Terrier Relays on March 30. They will then host the Susan Rouse Invitational on April 5 and 6.
