Warriors Compete in Royals XC Challenge

Charlotte, NC – Southern Wesleyan took 32nd in the Royals XC Challenge in a diverse field.

How It Happened

Peyton Shelton led the Warriors at the Royals XC Challenge with a time of 26:55 to take 200th place.  Shelton was followed by Elijah Stewart.  Stewart was seconds behind Shelton with a time of 27:05 to take 213rd place.

Sophomore Konner Palacios took 301st place with a time of 29:07.  He was closely followed by senior Mason Sims.  Sims took 305th place with a time of 29:19.  Jacob Harris was the fifth Warrior to cross the finish line, taking 313st with a time of 29:41.

Camden Davis and Josiah Turner took the sixth and seventh positions in the Warriors field.  Davis finished with a time of 31:41 to take a 354th while Turner took 355th with a time of 31:45.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the Bob Jones Invite on October 27.  They will then travel to Mount Olive, NC to take on the Conference Carolinas Championship on November 3.
