How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan claimed second place as a team at the Bob Jones Invite on October 27. Peyton Shelton led the Warriors, taking first place as an individual with a time of 28:06.8. He was followed closely by teammate Eli Stewart in third place with a time of 28:14.8. Shelton and Stewart were followed by Konner Palacios in fifteenth place with a time of 29:53.1.
In 20th place, Mason Sims crossed the finish line with a time of 30:36.3. Sims was followed by Camden Davis in 30th place with a time of 31:34.4 and Jacob Harris in 37th place with a time of 32:31.6. Finishing up the field for the Warriors is Josiah Turner in 41st place with a time of 34:00.1.
Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on November 3.
