Tigerville, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell in their final away series of the 2018 season to the North Greenville Crusaders in 7-2 and 8-0 final scores.
The Warriors posted three hits in game one of the two game series. Megan New led the team with a two run home run. Three Warriors walked during the loss. Josie Edwards started game one and went five innings while striking out one.
Natalie Johnson posted the lone hit in game two for the Warriors. Southern Wesleyan had four walks on the afternoon with Becca White leading the team with two. Riley Herdliska put down a sacrifice bunt. Hunter Hoskins started game tow and pitched four innings in the loss.

How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan struck first in game one of the afternoon. With two outs in the top of the first, Maddie Ward reached first on a walk. Megan New hit a home run down the left field line to put the Warriors on top 2-0.
North Greenville fought back to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth. The Crusaders went on to win the game 7-2.
The Crusaders brought four runs home in the top of the first to take an early lead. They went on to score runs in the second and third innings to win the game 8-0.
