How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan kicked off the Anderson Invitational with two Warriors sitting in the top twenty. Claire Page led the Warriors in the first round, scoring an 81 to put her in a tie for eighth place. Page was followed by Emily Anderson in a tie for 19th place with a first round score of 84.
Freshman Kaylia McIntyre followed Anderson in the first round of play. McIntyre shot a 91 in the first round to put her in a tie for 37th place. She was followed by Tatiana Tait in 39th place with a first round score of 92. Jesse Dalton rounded out the field for the Warriors with a first round score of 96 to put her in a tie for 40th place.
The Warriors will continue in the Anderson Invitational on September 11. They will then travel to Bristol, Tennessee as they take part in the King Invitational on September 24 and 25.
