Warriors Sitting in Third After First Round

Bristol, TN – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in third after the first round of play in the King Invitational.  The Warriors set new school records in the first round of the King Invitational with a first round score of 319.

How It Happened

Claire Page led the field in the King Invitational with a first round score of 72 to put her in first place.  Page was followed by Jesse Dalton.  Dalton shot an 80 in her first round to put her in a tie for 12th place.  She was closely followed by Emily Anderson in a tie for 19th place with a first round score of 83.

Freshman Kaylia McIntyre is sitting in a tie for 23rd place after her first round.  McIntyre shot an 84 in the first round.  She was followed by Emily Floyd with a score of 90 to put her in 32nd place.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the King Invitational on September 25.  The Warriors will next compete in the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on October 15 and 16.
