Warriors Finish in Fifth

Bristol, TN – Southern Wesleyan finished the King Invitational in fifth place after both rounds of play.

How It Happened

The Warriors finished in fifth place.  They were led by senior Claire Page who finished in a tie for 6th place after shooting a 72 and 79 to give her a total round score 151.  Page was followed by freshman Kaylia McIntyre.  McIntyre shot an 84 in the first round and then came back to shoot a 79 round to give her a total round score of 163 and put her in a tie for 15th.

Jesse Dalton finished in a tie for 17th place.  Dalton shot an 80 and 84 to give her a total round score of 164.  Emily Anderson took 29th place after shooting an 83 and 87 to give her a total round score of 170.  Anderson was followed by Emily Floyd.  Floyd shot a 90 and 86 for a total of 176.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next travel to Dahlonega, Georgia on October 15 and 16 as they take part in the LeeAnn Noble Memorial.  They will conclude the fall season at the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate on October 29 and 30.
