Warriors Sitting in Eleventh after First Round

St. Augustine, FL – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in 11th place after the first round of play in 2019 Women's Spring Kick-Off Intercollegiate on Monday. The Warriors shot +46 which was just two strokes better than last place (+48).

How It Happened

Claire Paige led the Warriors after the first day of the Spring Kick-Off Intercollegiate by shooting 80. Paige had one birdie on the day which was tied for a team high. Freshman Kaylia McIntyre shot the second-best score of the day by shooting an 83. She also had one birdie which was tied with the team high. Junior Madelyn Edwards placed third out of the Warriors with an 85 and Sophomore Tatiana Tait was fourth on the team with an 86.  


What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will conclude the second round on Tuesday February 12th.  They will then travel to the Battle of Hilton Head on February 25-26.
