Travelers Rest, SC – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in fourth place after the first round of play in the Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational hosted by North Greenville University.

How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan was led by Emily Floyd in the first round of the Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational on Monday.  Floyd shot an 80 in the first round to put her in a tie for fifth place.  She was followed by Claire Page.  Page shot an 82 in her first round of play to put her in 10th place.

Behind Floyd and Page, Jesse Dalton and Kaylia McIntyre both shot first round scores of 88 to put them in a tie for 18th place.  Madelyn Edwards shot a 102 in her first round to put her in 31st.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational on March 26.  They will then participate in the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament on April 7-9 to conclude their 2018-19 campaign.
