Warriors Sitting in Tenth after Round One of Conference Carolinas Championship

Hartwell, GA – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in tenth place after the first round of play in the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament.

How It Happened

Claire Page led the Warriors in the first round of the tournament.  Shooting five over par, Page had a first round score of 77.  She shot a hole in one on the 16th hole of the course.  Emily Floyd followed Page in the first round of the tournament.  Floyd shot an 83 in the first round of the championship tournament.

Sitting in 40th place, Jesse Dalton was the third Warrior to finish.  Dalton shot an 86 in her first round.  She was followed by Kaylia McIntyre and Tatiana Tait both with first round scores of 92.  Their first round scores put them in a tie for 47th place.

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament on April 8 and 9.
