Warriors Remain in Tenth after First Two Rounds of Conference Carolinas Championship

Hartwell, GA – Southern Wesleyan remains in tenth place after the second round of play in the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament.

How It Happened

Claire Page led the Warriors in the first two rounds of the tournament.  Shooting five over par, Page had a first round score of 77, including shooting hole in one on the 16th hole of the course.  She went on to shoot an 80 in the second round to give a 157 total round score and put her in a tie for 10th place.  Emily Floyd followed Page in the tournament.  Floyd shot an 83 in the first round and a 84 in the second round of the championship tournament to give her a 167 and put her in a tie for 28th place.

After the first two rounds of play, Jesse Dalton is sitting in 36th place.  Dalton shot an 86 in the first round and an 85 in the second round to give her a total round score of 171.  She was followed by Tatiana Tait.  Tait shot a 92 in the first round of the tournament, but came to shoot an 86 in the second round to give her a 178 total round to put her in a tie for 45th.  Finishing the first two rounds in a tie for 47, Kaylia McIntyre shot a 92 and 90 to give her a 182 score for the first two rounds.

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament on April 9.
