Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Limestone Saints on Saturday afternoon in a 4-0 final score.
The Warriors put up five shots and two shots on goal in the loss. Ashley Romanowski led the team with three shots while Rachel Curtis followed with two. Both Curtis and Romanowski had shots on goal. Jen Golio played all ninety minutes in goal for Southern Wesleyan and made 13 saves.

How It Happened
The Saints challenged early with shots by Alex Mathis and Danielle Murray. The Warriors countered with shots by Ashley Romanowski. Neither the Warriors defense nor the Saints let any balls for the first forty minute of play. With just four minutes left on the clock, Limestone's Sofia Lundkvist scored the first goal to give them a 1-0 lead at the half. Southern Wesleyan's defense and Jen Golio continued to block the Saints attacks in the second half of play keeping Limestone to a 1-0 lead until halfway through the second half. Back-to-back goals by the Saints gave them a 3-0 lead. They went on to win the game 4-0.
Southern Wesleyan will next play on October 12 as they travel to Spartanburg, SC to take on the Converse Valkyries at 6 p.m. They will then travel to Bristol, TN to take on the King Tornado at 3:30 p.m.
