Women's Track and Field Takes Second In Conference Carolinas Championship

Winston-Salem, NC - The 2018 indoor season finished with a strong showing from the SWU Women. Fourteen ladies contributed to the team score, with some electrify marks in many events, including two NCAA Provisional Qualifying marks.

200m: Amy Barton, 25.23. Conference Leader, DII Region Leader, NCAA Provisional Qualifier. Back-to-back indoor 200m champ.

400m: Jami Lewis, 57.60. Conference leader, DII Region Leader, back-to back indoor 400m champ.

60H: Skylar Julian, 8.77. Conference Leader, 2nd DII Region, Personal best.

Long Jump: A 'Miracle Scott, 5.57m (18'3.25"). Conference Leader, Personal Best.

4x400m: Shavon Fields, Lyric King, Jordan Hargrave, Jami Lewis, 4:03.71.

2nd Place Finishers:

200m: Jami Lewis, 25.49. Personal Best.

400m: Amy Barton, 58.54.

3rd Place Finishers:

Distance Medley Relay: Hayley Singletary, Shavon Fields, Sarah Reeves, Hanan Balawi, 13:38.54.
